    Will it be possible to use EcoCAN to create the file? If not, I will probably use it to create a CAN m-file and just manually edit it for the data type purposes.

    Yes, but the .m file you generate will have some properties that may be ignored, and you need to manually change the id as ‘type’, for the one which length is over 8 you need to manually add something. You can use EcoCAN to create one, and then compare what we send to you, it should be very clear.
