Code generation using project in Simulink

Hi there,

I have a question regarding generating codes for Simulink models managed by a Simulink project. I am trying to separate Simulink models based on their functionalities for easier collaborations with other team members.

So what I want to do is to create a Simulink Project that hosts many .mdl or .slx files that are linked to each other. I am wondering what would be build process for this configuration. Will building one .mdl or .slx generate the code for all the models?
