FIRA USA, the world’s largest agricultural robotics event, brought together innovators, growers, and technology leaders to shape the future of farming. Over three exciting days in Sacramento, attendees saw more than 35 robots in live demonstrations, ranging from early prototypes to fully developed models. The event highlighted technology in action, with robots handling seeding, weeding, fertilizing, harvesting, and crop monitoring. Alongside the demos, there were startup pitch sessions, investor networking events, and an Open Innovation Day where researchers and industry experts discussed the next big steps in AgTech.

This year, Ecotron was proud to join FIRA USA alongside our partners at Toyota Tsusho Nexty Electronics America. Representing Ecotron were Simon Yang, Project Manager and Sales Lead, and Kenneth Liu, Project Engineer. Together, they co-exhibited with the Nexty team to highlight Ecotron’s newest vehicle control technologies. Our goal in attending was to get a closer look at the growing agricultural robotics industry, see what kinds of controllers and hardware companies are currently using, and find out where there might be a need for advanced solutions like our ADCU controllers.

At the show, Ecotron featured two of our leading products: the EV82397A Domain Control Unit (DCU) and the EAT4A01 ADCU, both designed for high performance, durability, and reliability in autonomous and electric vehicle systems. Toyota Nexty displayed our ADCUs, the EAORA04 for demos and the EAORA10 Orin NX, showing how advanced control systems are helping power the next generation of agricultural robots.
For Ecotron, attending FIRA USA was about more than just displaying products. It was a chance to connect with growers, engineers, and innovators who are redefining the future of farming. Simon and Kenneth shared that the experience was inspiring, offering a first-hand look at how quickly agricultural technology is evolving and where opportunities for collaboration may lie.
