At Ecotron, we believe the future of mobility depends on the creativity, resilience, and technical skill of the next generation of engineers. That’s why our sponsorship program is built to give student teams the advanced technology and support they need to succeed.
This past season, we saw that vision come to life through our partnership with Unicamp E-Racing, a student team from the University of Campinas in Brazil. Between July 30th and August 3rd, the team competed in the 2025 Formula SAE Brazil competition—showcasing not only their engineering excellence but also the value of investing in youth innovation.
Unicamp E-Racing’s achievements this season were made possible in part through Ecotron’s sponsorship. We equipped the team with:
The Unicamp E-Racing team leverages MathWorks tools to accelerate development of their electric race vehicles, using Simulink to model and simulate control strategies with precision. Through Ecotron’s Ecocoder product, these models are seamlessly deployed to Ecotron ECUs, enabling rapid iteration and validation in real-world conditions. This integration empowers student engineers to bridge simulation and embedded implementation, driving innovation in electric mobility.
By providing both advanced hardware and professional-grade development tools, Ecotron enabled the students to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application—developing a Formula SAE prototype with the same precision and safety standards used in the global automotive industry.
The team’s hard work paid off with strong results at Formula SAE Brazil:
These achievements represent the kind of progress that happens when bright minds have access to the right tools and support.
Supporting teams like Unicamp E-Racing is not charity—it is our vision for the future. Our sponsorship program helps student engineers gain hands-on experience, solve real-world challenges, and prepare to become leaders in the automotive and mobility industries.
These students represent the engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers who will one day shape how the world moves. Seeing them achieve, grow, and innovate is our greatest reward.
With the design phase of their next car—the E26 prototype—already complete, Unicamp E-Racing is preparing for new breakthroughs in drivetrain, control, and lightweight materials. Ecotron will continue to stand alongside them, proud to play a role in turning their vision into reality.
At Ecotron, we are not just building technology. We are helping build the future of mobility—one student team at a time.
